L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling told his GF he does NOT want her bringing black people to his games ... including Magic Johnson ... and it's ALL on tape.

TMZ Sports has obtained audio of Sterling making the racist declaration during a heated argument on April 9th with V. Stiviano ... after she posted a photo on Instagram posing with Magic.

Sterling rails on Stiviano -- who ironically is black and Mexican -- for putting herself out in public with a black person (she has since taken the pic down).  But it doesn't end there.  You have to listen to the audio to fully grasp the magnitude of Sterling's racist worldview. Among the comments:

-- "It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?" (3:30)

-- "You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want.  The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games." (5:15)

-- "I’m just saying, in your lousy f******* Instagrams, you don’t have to have yourself with, walking with black people." (7:45)

-- "...Don't put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me.  And don't bring him to my games." (9:13)

Sterling has a documented history of allegedly racist behavior -- he's been sued twice by the federal government for allegedly refusing to rent apartments to Blacks and Latinos.

He was also sued by former Clippers exec Elgin Baylor for racial discrimination -- though a jury was ultimately not convinced and shot down Baylor's case.

Sterling has been separated from his wife Shelly for years.  She remains a key player in running the team and sources tell us she's "mortified" by Sterling's comments.

We have made several calls to Sterling and his people ... so far, no word back.

Truly disgusting. Clippers players gotta send a message by sitting out the rest of this first round series, specifically Blake Griffin and Chris Paul because they are the leaders. How could you play for someone who is a proven racist. If CP3 doesn't sit, Blake Griffin must boycott these next few games to send the message that racial discrimination will not be tolerated.

pls no more Blake Griffin posting up on the block

i doubt any players on the team will do anything mid playoff run, maybe this offseason

but players that play for other teams need to bring more attention do this issue, if you're not singing with the clippers this off season tell the world why

other owners should be speaking up about this to try and push him to sell the team, although you never know if there are other racist owners out there

Making a fortune from the labor of those who he would never consider being worth a damn if they didn't play basketball.

He should feel the anger of a united community and be forced to give up the Clippers. I doubt it would ever happen, but it would be justice if it did.

Jerry Buss would never have said stuff like this.

Big difference between a first class organization like the Lakers and a Mickey Mouse crap joke of an organization like the Clippers. Sure they may finally have something decent going on but their owner has and still is a scumbag.

I pretty sure those are his racist peers calling him about it...

Wow. I wonder how the black players in the team will respond esp Blake, Jordan and CP.

this guy has a track record for this kind of behavior. its just on tape now

^but he owns the clippers so the owners are his peers and im sure he associates himself with other owners.

Im not saying any owner is racist but they are his peers and could very well also share similar sentiments.

yeah of course its possible, i was talking about the non racist owners since there is no way every nba owner is a racist

would be a good chance to speak up against racism and sterling while boosting their own brand

he probably gets dissed on for being with that foreign box openly

then on top of that shes getting seen with black dudes which fosters insecurity in him

and his boys are calling him out on that.

Peers don't have to be other owners bud.

They could just be people in his circle.

Plus he probably has lots of other business ventures and peers from those ventures.
