LEGIT CHECK: Jordan XIs Cap and Gown

I bought these retail from a place in Shreveport called 318Footwork. It's like a shoe cosignment shop.

Place is in a shady part of town. I was so excited to be able to have a pair for retail I forgot to do a thorough check. And their a size 13, I'm wear a 11.5 /12. SMH

What bothers me is the tag behind the tongue is stitched very sloppy. The tag on the box is very flimsy also.

Is the suede suppose to be similar to the Baron 11 Lows? I have them and they're not.

I'm about 75% sure these are fake, just want to run it pass you guys first. I might have a hard time returning these to the crooks, any suggestions.

So I compared these to mine that came from footlocker. The inside looks correct ( black stitching mostly uniform, the blue ink QC stamp, authentication punch or hole, and the production dates on the tag are almost identical to mine ) the outside was looking good too.

Laces look correct, carbon fiber plate, and cut of the patent leather. The box label looked good to me as well. The font looks correct and it has the perforated price tag which I've been told the fakes usually don't get right. The tag on the inside of the tongue does look janky and stitched sloppy which made me think these may be reps but all the above I stated is making me think otherwise and wanting to say they legit. How are the shoe trees ? Can you post a pic of the inside of the tree ? Mainly the sizing info along the outside edge. Also, the suade/nubuck should be nice and soft and should get lighter & darker as you swipe back and forth. I have the Jordan 11 72-10's & the J5 black metallics and the cap & gown's are definitely softer than both of those. I don't have the Barron's so I don't know what they feel like.

Thanks a lot man. I have a pretty good eye, I'm an artist and I'm use to drawing/copy still objects, but these are a very good replica if they are.

As for as the shoe tree. They look good compared to what I seen on youtube reviews and comparisons. The only issue is the trees say 10.5-12. My shoes are a 13.

I will say the suede doesn't change colors. The suede on the Baron's is really nice, like you can see the fibers, kind of looks like pencil eraser residue if you know what I mean. I'll go out and take some more pics on my break.

I plan on selling or trading these bcuz they're too big. I don't want to pass off fakes and get embarrassed or negative feedback on Ebay.

I just returned them, got my 275$ back. Couldn't too that chance.
