Looking to get a Manhattan apartment

Hey guys. I'm considering a move out to NYC and I was curious about the costs of an apartment out there. I know it's high, but I want a specificperspective. I'm looking to get a two bedroom non-ghetto apt. with just the bare essentials. How much should I expect to be paying?

2 bed one bath manhattan, figure $2000-$4000. variables include location, doorman, elevator, anemities

i live in a pretty cheap 2 bedroom. its $3600.

I'm also looking. If you're not looking to spend much, your best bet is Morningside Heights (west of Broadway, the City College/Columbia area) or theUpper East Side/Spanish Harlem.

guys in here pretty much sumed it up, and anything sbove 96 isnt really manhatten, lol. especaily harlem. its kinda nice around columiba tho. thry downtownbrooklyn
