Agreed, and i watch a documentary on Nikola Tesla. <Dude was a huge impact on our world.Originally Posted by ATLien Seeko
MLK is appreciated, however, I think we should have a holiday where we rotate celebrating different individuals vs the same one every year because honestly, how will we progress and learn if we teach the same thing every year? I understand there's a Black History Month, but I'm not talking about just Black History, I'm speaking in terms of historians, period. There are a TON of other important figures that I think our society would benefit from knowing about other than Christopher Columbus, MLK, etc. We need one day that we rotate different figures every year. After a certain point, it becomes a cliche in culture/tradition.
Nikola Tesla, anyone? Write Brothers?

I want to be the white man's brother, not his brother-in-law.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

I don't subscribe to his ideas on spirituality but rather his dedication to preserving peace and condemning hatred, violence and social injustices.
