Just caved in and bought the SFIV Round 2 TE Stick. $133 shipped not bad with 2 day shipping. I can't stand playing with the PS3 controller. Can't do any air combos!!!!

I hear what you're saying about the controls system being dumbed down...but there's a whole lotta other *$* beneath the surface.
1. x-factor (xfactor-ing ultimates to do insane amounts of dmg)
2. moves that pop-up enemies after a combo (forgot the name of the move)
3. tagging teammates for air-combos
4. assists are more intricate than ever
I'd say watch the 2 tournament videos that were posted here, and see if a 'noob' can do what some of those players do. I sure as hell can't.

That's been popular recently in fighting games. The whole "bounce" system where it pops up a character so you can jump in and get max damage. Tekken 6 BR is a prime example. If you don't know how to juggle with the popup, you can't hang with the big dogs.
I like it, it rewards the experienced players...

Kinda mad they didn't put Frank West in the squad...would been sick if he had a hyper combo with using all types of weapons (bat, desk, mannequin, axe, boxing gloves, etc.) hitting the opponent! Frank West>Okami ALL DAY!

--The one change I like the most is how the character switch is done.
--Its not as "fast" as MVC2 so you dont have those people switching every second just to get a quick attack in...

And I found my third and she is now my starter.... Zero x Taskmaster/Wesker/Storm/Deadpool x.....

my ranked record sucks too but i dont like getting into player lobbies i probably should so i mostly play ranked...
this game will remain as popular as mvc2 its more complex, you guys think its easier because people can smash into a combo...but if your any type of good that shouldnt even phase you

I've been trying to practice last night, but I'm still trying to get a solid feel for the game (It's so much more different than SF). My brother's been playing and he basically got everything down packed already.
For those complaining about Sentinel, I would suggest finding a character that has an attack that hits multiple times while you rush down. Morrigan for example can do her cross up on Sentinel and you can follow up with a combo easy.

this game is so much more balanced then mvc2. every character is playable with practice. and its harder to spam assists now.

my buttons don't seem to be working properly they are getting stuck lol. i guess im going to get a fight stick soon. online record is about W 360- L 120 alot of those loses where the first days i got the game. going to be on through out the day if anyone wants to play
