Mens Haircut/ Styles? Help

Been growing my hair since November, Ihave thick and wavy hair..

I have been slicking it back with gelsince the end of january and now its too crazy.i have to put a lotof gel to hold it back. I need to trim it but dont know what to get.

I am tired of low blowout and fades..the slick hair fits me and makes me look older. Everyone likes it.

Just need a new style or somethingasap.. HELP

had it like that.. Hair is 3 inches long.. not that long but i have trimmed in since January.. ima go back to it..
ima post pic of my hair in a bit .
