How is attendance calculated for the Warriors on the chart? Ticket sales or actual through the gates...cuz the lower bowl may have filled up, but there was NOONE in the upper.

And how about the Cubs? They've sucked for a long time but always have a good following.

that's definitely how i feel as well. I think it goes Knicks/Warriors, and a couple other teams that are in the conversation as well.
It seems like big urban areas have the most loyal basketball followings though (NYC, Chicago, Detroit, Oakland, LA (to an extent, outside of the Hollywoodbandwagoners like Snoop Dogg

, i've only sat in the lower bowl at most 2-3 times and because i'mcheap i've sat in the upper the rest of the times. when i get a good job, i'll consider getting lower bowl season tix, though.

Man, back in the late 90's you could EASILY move up from the upper to the lower bowl man....come on!

This is really a tough question to answer, I mean how can you really say x team has more devoted fans than y team.

What is this based on? Attendance? Or how many "hardcore" fans a team has?
