300 GB these days is nothing. I have an external hard drive that's 500 GB and an internal hard drive that's 320 GB. Hell, 1000 GB (1 TB) is pretty easyto get too.

GB (Gigabytes) is just storage memory. It doesn't make your computer run faster or slower unless you have all your memory filled and your system has nomemory to rely on.
