Always have this debate with people outside over it was written & illmatic ive always thought it was written was his illest body of work ...some vouch for illmatic , but il go it was written /2- illmatic /3 - i am for top 3

Last I made this list I'm pretty sure I put the I Am... Nastradamus double disc in my top 5 and ommitted the separate versions :lol: :pimp:

This had to be before Life is Good came out.

However, the original double disc version of I Am would be his best had it been released as it was supposed to be.

There's probably 5 Nas albums I don't have fresh ears for, and if I did, it would probably be a different order somewhat. Stillmatic, Illmatic, God's Son, Hip Hop Is Dead, Untitled, Life Is Good, and NASIR are all burned in my head.

- I like listening to It Was Written more than illmatic but Illmatic is still the GOAT rap album.
- the first 6 are on another level compared to the rest
- I’d take those top 3 albums over any rapper except maybe Tupac
- I haven’t really slapped post 2010 Nas like that which is a shame cuz he’s still my favorite rapper.
 
I Might have to bump up streets deciple. Gave it a few listens and it's better than what I remembered.
