** NBA Feet - '09-'10 **

go ball in dunks, then go ball in kobes/huaraches/zoom bb1,2/powermax/etc. and tell me you don't feel a difference in performance lol. i'm not tryingto say the shoes make the player, it doesn't, but the right shoes will make it easier on you to perform on the court. today's standards for bball shoeshave changed and it's especially nice to see shoe companies actually make an effort to push the envelope on technology and performance for great ballplayers. if i wanted to ball in sb shoes, i'll go buy sb shoes and have at it. don't give me a sb shoe and call it a bball shoe.

this really is just an opinion of my own. don't try to get all philosophical on me, you know nike could've done nash better than that lol. but ifi'm wrong, i'm wrong. doesn't really matter to me. more nba feet plz!

Just retro the Jet Flights or release more Zoom MVPs in some non-hideous colorways and be done with it.

And who are you to say what works for Steve Nash? Also when you speak of the makeup of the Kobe's and blahblahblah, you are not speaking of how a shoeperforms, you are speaking of comfort. The performance of a shoe actually means how it plays, wears, and how long it lasts. A pair of dunks can do just aswell, if not better, than a pair of Kobe's. This is due to the minimalist make of the shoe. You wont have to worry about how the air bags wear, and the"break in" time would be minimal. Obviously there is a greater range of choice for comfort these days, but I think that Steve Nash knows a bit betterabout what he likes to play in.

Don't you?

@ Nike God.

oh snap. i'm not saying what works and doesn't work for nash. if the guy wanted sb inspiration for his next shoe, by all means. it's his shoe, notmine but it's just going to be another low that every lowtop-lover has to choose from this year if those release to the public. and when i speak about themakeup of a bball shoe, i am speaking about performance which happens to include comfort. if a bball shoe isn't comfortable how can you play in it?performance are things like an outrigger, fit, traction, durability, stability, etc. now, i haven't tried on the shoe so i can't say for sure if itworks for me. this is just my first impression of the shoe based on how it looks. and so far, it doesn't look too good.

Funny, funny stuff...
Well it's not really THAT funny...

You can wear a pair of Chucks to play ball, nevermind being in the NBA.

This guy did it and won 11 championships

I don't know what to think about Thabeet just yet, but do you guys think he has the potential to maybe be better than Mutombo? Some might laughand think Mutombo is/was wack (the younger bball fans i would hope), but the success and respect that he's earned even with limited offensive skill butAll-NBA defensive ability is nothing to sneeze at...I just hope he turns out better than Oden, not that I'm hating on Oden, he's been remarkablyunlucky, but this plague of underachievement has to stop somewhere

I have seen two generic versions at store already (black/white and white/white); tried them on and came to the conclusion that they're far from spectacular. They make a pretty decent casual/lounging shoe but not for NBA-caliber basketball.

When you compare it to the ZKIV or even the Zoom Lebron II low, they're not even in the same contest. There's LITTLE ankle support and less-felt cushioning (I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that they need breaking-in).

What has the meaning of "basketball shoes" become?!

I haven't worn or heard about the comfort level of the Nash shoe, but my initial thought was: Its a fact just because a shoe looks like poo poo, doesn't mean it plays like poo poo.

We all know Nike can put any tech they want in any shoe, and it doesn't have to be in their in-line (GR) offering.

For all we know what we see is straight cah-cah but he could be playing on a platform of gold.

dam son... SLIM SHADY lookin swoll... kinfoe shouldnt have slid as far as he did, but it looks like he usin that weight room as motivation...

on the other note.... A . I. back w/ the braids.... makes me feel proud to rock my newly attained cornrows...

Am I the only 1 feelin the new AI's?...that Ty Lawson pic got me sold..I haven't brought a Reebok shoe since the Question (1 of my top 5 hoop kicks)

Can't wait to see Iversons colorways

oddly enough i dont mind the iverson shoe either...

I do want to try the nash shoe too...

WORD. Rasheed has his zoom AF1's, don't see why Nashes personal on court shoe wouldn't have great tech.
