Need help with free 4.0 flyknit issue

I've been looking more and more at the flyknit lines for running. I'm not a big sneaker guy at all, so I'm new to this. I came across a pair I think I'd really like, but there seems to be an issue. The pictures on the official Nike website, and the pictures on other reputable sites don't add up. They're not the same exact shoe. I even called Nike and the rep said, "just go by what it is on our site". I asked him to identify the other shoe on footlocker.com, but he couldn't and that's the shoe that I like more.

Both say the same thing, but two different shoes, and it's not only footlocker, it's many other sites as well. Any help is appreciated

Bottom was the 14/15, top was 15/16

They are both authentic. The top is the newer model. The bottom style is a few years old. I prefer that one as well. Dont like the new style at all.

Yeah Nike's website is the most recent Free 4.0 (2015 model) the ones you like on Footlocker are the 2014 model, which many people do prefer and I would actually suggest buying them if you think you'll like them because stock on those has got to be getting pretty low by now across all retailers.
