Need Help With Paint

No matter what paint i use, Angelus or a local brand, The shoe will always chip. I put Matte finish on it and then a coat of protector and the paint will chip or even peel off. Ive tried using more acetone but it still doesnt help. It always peels on the inside midsole of my 4s 5s and 6s. Help??

you gotta use the acetone before painting and apply it excessively to make sure the factory coat falls off. There is also a shoe paint remover made specifically to do that because acetone is strong and can compromise the leather if not used properly.
