New York Yankees Official Thread - at O’s, 19-10

How did they allow a can’t miss top end prospect in Gleyber whose first two years were .849 OPS and 125 OPS+ become a bottom of the order hitter

It’s maddening how often this seems to happen in this franchise.

They’ve squandered players all over the field since 2015. Gary, Luke, Gleyber, Gio, Andujar, Frazier. But at least we have defense.

Ehh all of these are not the same. They did really good jobs with guys like Luke, Gio, Urshela, and even Tauchman. All of those guys were afterthoughts they got for nothing and they made solid players out of them. But then you have guys like Gleybar and Sanchez that were really good and on pace to being possibly elite just completely fall of a cliff. I can't make any sense out of it.

Maybe the player squandered the opportunity and not just the team. Kind of wired it’s all on the team and nothing on those guys.

lose a series to a team that was 1-5 before them wow

bunch of homers or strikeout players on this team alwasy going for the long ball when all we need is to find the hole.

mets are actually looking like the better new york team for once

Clint Frazier's Timbo cleats were the best thing in the last 10 yrs ... :smh:

This team needs pitching bad ....

Cole is flat out underwhelming as an ace.
He is tonight, but overall this is a dumb comment. If you look at his numbers since he's been in NY, idk what more you can expect. He's been the best pitcher in the AL over that time. If you want better, you're being unreasonable.

And I will never have confidence in him in a big game

Without the sticky stuff, he’s not the same guy.
