Would just like to point out according to fangraphs, Josh Donaldson is 30th out of 40-3B in OPS and 29th in wRC for all 3B with > 200 PA.
He's a bottom 5 starting third baseman offensively. And they need to do whatever it takes outside of trading Peraza, Cabrera, Volpr and Dominguez to get out of his salary for next year.
