That's a nice collection. I've seen only a handful that are on par with it. All of them tend to have the same things in common... Tons of fresh gear, but all from years past. It appears that getting Duck PEs is easy after each season passes. Players seem to graduate, sell off their gear, and the ath. dept. itself seems to do the same. The tough get for Duck gear appears to be getting the current stuff that isn't released to the public (obvious I know). Things like the Revis PE's, current year team travel shoes, and the always impressive PE Jordans that were made. Those are real hard to find in any collection. I actually have yet to see a collection that has all those rare shoes worked into one. If I saw that, I'd be impressed big time.
i've been collecting Oregon gear and PE's before it was the cool thing to do. before the school started to sell all the excess trainers/cleats n the surplus sale each year. Trying to collect gear when started was like trying to get current stuff today. It was never easy to get stuff after the season ended. You had to know the right people. I knew a couple people with connections and I was able to get things here and there in those days. but It was hella hard and hella expensive. There was no releases of trainer or shoes released to the public, outside of the always hard to find Oregon Hyperdunks in 08. When things started to change, it kind of turned me off from collecting and sold parts of my collection. Those Jordan PE's not a fan at all of them, I understand what they were trying to do by coming out with them, but I dont like them at all.
Being in the Air Force, this is my favorite piece of my collection. Game worn Sping Game jersey
