Nigerians posing as Navy Officers??

So i put up my laptop on craigslist and i get this email.
Thanks for your mail,I'm a Naval Officers and I'm in a ship at sea now and private calls are not allowed,i am buying this for my son who school in overseas.i will add $130 for shipping,i would have preferred to make this local transaction but i am out of town presently...so you can get back to me with your PayPal email account so i can pay now.hope to hear from you soon. This is my contact number 7202661278 but you can't get to me through the phone because I'm at work now and i switch off the phone.please kindly get back to me through the mail.

the Nigerian scammers on CL are hilarious

I was looking for a car a few months ago and ran across an 06 Honda Civic for 7,000 which didn't seem too suspicious. The scammer tells me they just recently moved to Iowa so they'll have to ship the car so I tell them I'm actually in Iowa for business too which is perfect

. They then tell me they're actually in vacation in Georgia so I tell them I'm going to Atlanta next week for more business so we can meet up then. The guy then tried sending me a virus that gmail picked up
