Honestly the tongue on these aren’t that bad. If you wear crew or even quarter socks you can’t feel any discomfort. Overall from first impressions this shoe is: a. Heavy and b. Incredibly comfortable lol.

I never cared much for PEs personally. I think the allure of PEs to most people is that they can’t have them. If they were a GR cw they’d probably rot on shelves until they hit deep discount like most pairs
