Need help, other than eBay, tracking down some of these. Any ideas?

Looking for the following...

LDV's

Also had these back in '99... think I had 2 pairs of each and wore them down to the ground.

Never got these when they retro'd in '07.

Tailwind's

Was able to track down these but they were a size too big. Cat threw up on them, washed them and they were destroyed in the wash. Was really bummed because I remember having washed my LDV's and they came out spanking clean. Was really disappointed in the build quality of these.

All that said, would love to be able to find some niche site that caters to 70's sneaker lovers.

idk if those are new releases or not. if they are new, you should be able to hit some online stores and find em. try some overseas sites. they normally sell these type of shoes b/c people over there eat em up. other than that, ebay is pretty much the only way to go. if you dont see them initially, your gonna have to put in that daily search work, and trust me, something ALWAYS pops up eventually...

im with ya though, i love the whole daybreak/vintage effect nike puts on old school shoes. been coppin waffles, vortex', epics and a few of the OG AM pack. they're like a new love for me...

and BTW... i maybe wrong but i thought the name of the shoes you posted in the LDV pics up there were called elites. they look JUST like em.

I'm voting for LDV on those first two pair. Elite's have the "rocker'ed" sole like the Daybreak while the LDV is pretty flat.

And yes, way more get retro'd in Europe.
