WTF? Why didn't the OW5 Sail release like this instead? It would've made way more sense considering the Black pair had a black upper and black midsole. Would've made sense for the white pair to have an off-white upper and white midsole - instead they went with an off-white upper and black midsole.

Because there's nothing "classic" about the Off-White 5. Just would've been nice to see the contrast between both colorways - one black, one white.
way i see is the black pair is based off black metallics and sails based off fired reds hence the black midsole
white midsole pair is nicer tho

while those all sail 5's are nice, I think they made the right choice going with the sail/black 5's that released to keep it about the OG cw's on the 5's

So glad these didn't release. They did right by the 5's. Would have been nice to see them take a little more risk with the model but not bad overall.WTF? . The look just flows much nicer on that white on white pair. OG doesn't automatically make it look better.
