Waffles arrived early. Apparently USPS shipped on Thanksgiving day, and delivery from GOAT was only 2 days total. These are wild.

I don’t really wear basketball shoes anymore (basically only when I have a chance to play) but I grew up on Jordan’s. I think these are ok and about what people should expect from an Off-White shoe, elements of the original but something different at the same time; kinda wish Virgil would’ve went a little more “far out” with them though. No orange tag, are we seeing the end of those? And no zip tie! God I hate those things. I always just put them in a ziplock bag and label it. The Jordan 4 I have more sentimental attachment to; maybe if it was a 4 I would feel more moved one way or another. I would absolutely lose my **** if the 4 from the FOS display released most likely. Still gonna try to cop. At least they’re better than the Dunks!

I’m pretty sure all these early pics are from rep factories. Half the pics I’ve seen have had some kind of watermark on them that goes back to rep factories.

I can’t think of any OW shoe that doesn’t feature a ziptie branding. Even outside of the Nike collab.

No, I hate zip ties. (I do like the orange tags on the swoosh though) I don’t hate these Jordan 5’s. I can’t really see me wearing them much because they’re a basketball shoe, but I think the general concept is kind of fresh.

As far as the Waffles, I had just unboxed them. I only wore them to the bathroom to look in the mirror, but I thought they felt good and looked good on foot. (I went tts) They’re far out, for sure. Definitely not disappointed. I’m tempted to at some point take a blade to some of the plastic to expose some of that nice blue suede underneath. Lol. I’ll try to post more soon.

So, I don’t usually post pics. (I think this is my second time ever on NT, the first being an on foot of white Sacai Waffles which is really weird since I don’t do selfies generally.) But they were requested so...
The shoe was pretty comfortable. I skipped the Vapors, so I was surprised how durable the plastic covering seems. Rope laces seem a little thinner and more rigid than Kigers, also super reflective. Personally I love them. I may go for the white pair also. (Or double up on these to cut some plastic off of one pair and leave one as is.) Also, the tag from the boutique that pre-sold them was attached. It’s crazy that passed through both the seller and GOAT. Should I try to blackmail them? Lol. Sorry the photo quality isn’t great. Early weekend morning after a late night coupled with an iPhone I’ve dropped about 100 times.
