North Face Backpacks

Alright NT, I'm looking for a new backpack. My dog just recently chewed up one of my shoulder straps.

I had the North Face Heckler. I really liked the backpack, but when I went and checked them out yesterday, it looks like they use cheaper materials now.

Any recommendations for other backpacks?  I mainly use it for school, but sometimes I'll use it for other things.

I have a Northface Recon right now and am very happy with it. If you aren't looking for another Northface try Rei, High Sierra or even some of the better quality Jansport.

Ebay your old backpack and get an older version like the one you had. Cheaper then what you would get now and it sounds like it would be better quality.

I've used two North Face backpacks since I started college, first two years I used the Sweeper it was durable and comfortable, but I wanted a bigger backpack. Now my third year I have the new Hot Shot, been using it for about three months, loving it so far.
