Yea that was a brilliant comparison man.Unfortunately for Kenny, he rises to the level of his competition, and unlike Okada, he doesn’t elevate people. He’s been exposed coming into AEW. Still a great hand, but nowhere near the Best Bout Machine.
I like to think of Kenny being in NJPW as Vince Russo in WWE. Great ideas that needed to be filtered by the boss (Gedo/Vince McMahon) to ultimately create a product that we’ll never forget. His run from 2016-2019 was something classic and much appreciated, but it’s gone and never to return like the attitude era.
