As soon as I ditched my driver my average dropped to the mid to high 80s. Haven't golfed in a long time though

What’d you switch to, fairway wood??
That’s my thing, I can hit the occasional bomb with my driver; but not consistently. And the carrot of hitting a long driver feeds my ego just enough to continue to stick with it

Hybrid 3. I don't like woods either.
My irons and hybrids are consistent enough to just use those.

Columbia super range?
Yeah I tried a bunch but I always hook it left. If it's a really wife fairway I'll bring it out and aim way right

Columbia too expensive. I go to Snohomish to hit on the lawn instead of the carpet stuff . You get like 30 more balls in their large bucket and a way lower price. They also have a truck to aim for there.

Hybrid 3. I don't like woods either.

I might be worse with my hybrid 3 than my driver. The hybrids are just weird for me to hit, I have no idea why. I’ve spent more time on YouTube watching instructional videos than I care to admit. Like I said, pretty much started from square one earlier his year. Wasn’t even confident enough to attempt to swing a driver, let alone swing for the fences like I try to now

I don't understand that. I do envy people like that because **** always hangs over my head no matter how petty or minor. It's impossible for me to simply ignore something unless I'm going through a real crisis or something.
