sometimes you spend less if you leave a tab though...won't end up tipping quite as much potentially. Really depends on the person though.

Damn son? Never been in a bar? Vodka+Cranberry's are always good, Kamikaze's, Tequila shots although often times even shots of rail tequila are expensive, if it's a microbrewery ask them for their preferred in-house beer, if it's not go with whatever beer you like. Don't just walk up to chicks and ask if you can buy them a drink, they'll take advantage of that. Strike up a conversation for atleast a couple minutes before you buy them anything. Have a good meal in your stomach before hand. Plus if it's your birthday mention it to a chick, hell they may buy YOU a drink. HAVE FUN.

This is true, but if you leave it open, don't get too hammered. Hard to reconcile when you're just walking up. Hard to keep count in general when you've been drinking.
