He's more than a novelty "weed rapper," as most people know him as. He's been at it since the early 90s, he used to be on Rap A Lot Records. Devin has collaborated with a bunch of artists, notably Jay-Z, Scarface, UGK, and Too Short
As somebody trying to get familiar with his music:
