very good. The honey, cinnamon and coffee along with the barrel comes through very nicely.

On a becks and some casamigos blanco

Also got some stellas, but going stick with the becks and finish those

Booze stores around me have been closed for a month now (we’re the only state where they were deemed non essential). I’ve been budget boozing with Miller lite and hamms. I feel this is how my grandparents and parents got down before the craft explosion.
Local breweries are open for the most part. But those growlers can get costly. Not many of them are selling anything on sale. Without TW, the regional and national craft beers, I’m just not really seeing. Grocery stores can sell booze but those have never been the best avenues for variety.
I’ve literally had the same 7 beers, rinse and repeat for a month now.
Many gas stations sell booze but you’re at the expense of waiting in long lines for beers that may or may not be fresh, or cheap. I’ve seen some price gouging too.
Non essentials can now do curbside or delivery, but 20 years back my state got rid of that too. So their current license excludes them from operating.
Temps are rising so it’s best to just have some ice cold 2-3 full crushers and call it a day. I miss the variety already though. I’m not a fan of buying six packs of stuff I’ve never had before from local breweries. I miss the singles aisle at the booze stores more than ever. I miss getting a sample at a brewery before a full dedicated pour or growler.

Miller Lite :pimp: :pimp: been drinking way too many hazy IPAs and pastry stouts during quarantine. Been switching it up lately.

-Miller Light
-Allagash White (desert island beer for me)
-Tired Hands Helles Lager

also having non adjuncted stouts and realizing I much prefer these over the insane pastry stouts. Had a three year old Plead the Fifth and Storm King which were absolutely divine. Had a Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout as well

I wanna start grabbing these easy to get “shelfies” every year to throw in the cellar. These beers are timeless and age gracefully

I've been getting growler fills more frequently than I ever have w/ this pandemic

taking advantage of some deals...there's a local brewery that has been doing fills for $10 and I plan to grab one there, another local brewery that is only doing fills once a week has a new beer out and I make a point to try any new beer they put out, another place pretty local to me has been doing $8 crowler fills since they got some pallets of empties very recently and they were kind enough to fill my small growlers at the same price of the crowlers with a 10% ABV coffee stout and an oag aged Barleywine, a brewery that's been in the works for a long time opened to do growler filles and got a few there

You out by South county? Cats in the central PA Facebook group are raving about their Premium Lager.

Naw, I’m the opposite direction...I’m an hour north of you

The breweries I am andhave been getting fills at are Old Forge in Danville, Selin’s Grove Brewing, Bullfrog (where Terry Hawbreaker used to be brewmaster prior to Pizza Boy) in Williamsport, and Three Beards in Sunbury

Even got a couple of fills from a distributor that had a couple of nice beers on draft

Oooh. I will have to keep an eye out. Stouts are my favorite.

Came in to say I tried Dragon's Milk stout last week. Sweet, strong coffee and chocolate notes, creamy but not viscous.

couple of more from today
