This is the craziest thing to me. He gets 0 credit for turning the Warriors around. When he took over and said they were a playoff team he got laughed at. The biggest thing that wnded up changing the Warriors was David Lee getting hurt and Kerr being forced to play Draymond. Kerr has said himself that Lee was their starter and they lucked into Dray. The Warriors would have happened with or without Kerr.

Not saying Mark is a great coach or even a good one. But at the very least he deserves the opportunity to prove himself again.

-trusted in draymond since rookie year. It didnt end well but he trusted him defend andre miller on an island in the last seconds of game 1 in that gsw/den series
-helped dray and klay form into elite defnders
-that elevator screen he had steph and klay run was genius

all that being said, I’d still take kerr over jackson any day. jackson’s rotations were mind boggling at times, like leaving david lee or jordan crawford in too long or drawing up plays that only ran thru steph despite having two bigs who could facilitate. There was a definite ceiling to jackson’s coaching.
