Sure we haven’t got exactly what we want in terms of 1 to 1 reproductions of the OGs, but I have to disagree with you on the notion that we’ve been getting just mids since the OGs. This first image, courtesy of our own MJO23DAN , with the OG Chis on the left, ‘94s in the middle, and 2015s on the right, and this second image courtesy of Jumpmanbostic, showing the OGs on the left and the 2015s on the right, show that there’s not much of a difference in terms of height. Like millimeters, if that. Now as to other features, such as shape and outsole, that’s a different convo.

We've gotten highs comparable to OG's in terms of height. That was the first thing I checked for when I got my OG's.

In fact, some retros seem higher than the OG.

Obsidians, however, were unusually low compared to others highs.

Honestly the highs of 01s any 09 high pair and beyond to the 2013-2014 highway and remasters are all high tops. Some just look squattier than others because of padding, shape, materials, wing placement etc. I posted a pic last year comparing the 01 all the way to the remaster pairs and they were all close in height.
