Once you realize that you're a hoarder and already have a bunch of shoes that you don't really need it does simplify things and make you avoid making bad financial decisions in life, like spending many times above retail for shoes you don't even need.

I now just buy 3-4 pairs a year, maybe less. Mostly via pre-order or resale. Its not like heat is dropping. 96% of the stuff thats released is garbage to me.
