P4L...I still gotta get around to a few of these albums

Coloring Book is a mixtape but i get what your saying, OP.

For official albums....

"The Sun's Tirade" - Isaiah Rashad

or

"Still Brazy" - YG

Great mention on KA i forgot about that tape. Going back to listen again

I wasn't the biggest fan of Isiah Rashad's album. I havent' heard Dave East yet been meaning to check out Ro James

Looks like i should listen to Solange first

99.9% and Jeffery are my 2 favorites. not sayin much tho. didnt really love too many albums that came out this year

This years mixtapes have been better than the albums honestly. Someone needs to make that thread too. Or can we say both in here? :nerd:

Love & Hate- Michael Kiwanuka is the AOTY for me.

A Seat At The Table, A Moon Shaped Pool, and Lemonade are right behind.

I tried the Solange album. That ain't my type of sound. I wanted to like it but couldn't.

Kamaiyah - A Good Night In The Ghetto

Rowdy Rebel - Shmoney Keeps Calling

Can't think of any others, damn I'm getting old.
