Kmart starts early Black Friday Sales on Sunday
It was already a trend last year to start the Black Friday and Thanksgiving Salesdays before. Kmart is now taking it to the extreme and starts their Black Friday Sales this Sunday November 2nd.

Apparently Kmart will start to offer only Black Friday deals in the home electronics product category as you guys seem to be hesitant about buying new TVs andBlue-ray players.

The Kmart Early Black Friday deal will include 15 items that will be announced in circulars on November 2nd.

To start early with offering deals will drive the prices even more down as retailers need to be even more aggressive on the actual Black Friday to keep up theexcitement and resulting sales.

It will be interesting to see if other retailers will follow Kmart to launch their early Black Fridaycampaigns. As reported earlier some are already entertaining special Friday and Weekend Sales.

The Kid Robot Pirate store in chicago is having a black friday sale day after thanksgiving..

What makes a laptop good/bad?

I wanna know becasue if i see a laptop on sale for 400 i dont want it to break right away. I can never tell if its a good deal or not cuz i dont have much knowledge towards laptops.

im talking like 2.4 dual processor n stuff, i dont know what all that means.

I just wanna find a good deal on a good reliable laptop.
First of all, you have to know what you wanna use your laptop for and your budget.

There are different levels of mobile computing and hardware. Netbooks and Laptops are what you should focus your search on. Netbooks are basically entry level"mini laptops" and are
more affordable than their bigger cousins. Then there are entry level laptops and everything in between until you reach the performance laptops which are themost expensive.

Netbooks tend to be in the 300-500 dollar range and entry level notebooks in the 400-800 and possibly up to 1000 dollar range. Everything in the middle levelis between 800 to around 1600 dollars. Above that you can usually find the performance or gaming laptops including the Macbook Pros. The macbook air is in the"middle" level price range although spec wise it could be argued that it belongs in the higher levels of entry notebooks because Apple computers areoverpriced.

When it comes to specs and the difference between each level of laptops and netbooks, the basic thing to do is to consider the type of processor, the type andamount of memory, and the graphics card. Usually, only the performance or gaming computers come with a dedicated graphics card so if you are on $1,500 budgeror below that you will have to conform with
integrated graphics.

Most netbooks come with Intel Atom or Via processors. Ok I am tired of typing now so I will make it short from now on
roll.gif

In terms of processors:

netbooks= intel atom processors or Via
entry level laptops=intel celeron or intel dual core
middle level=intel core 2 duo
performance or gaming=core 2 duo or core 2 quad

intel atom or via<celeron<<<intel dual core<<<<intel core 2 duo<<<<intel core 2 quad

to differentiate between the dual cores, intel core 2, and intel core 2 quad just check their Ghz

memory= the more the better

You can almost follow the same advice for desktops but then the motherboard and video card comes into play. If you decide to get a desktop and depending onyour budget I suggest
you wait for the new core i7 processors which will be released later this month. Their performance is superior to even the extreme editions of current intelquad core processors
