Happy to break this one down. Wayne and the other fighter really had excellent footwork. Both guys circled to the left. I liked how Wayne was using the left as a range finder similar to what Roy Jones Junior used to do both to gauge distance but to prevent his opponent from getting comfortable. My favorite part of the fight was how the fighter in maroon closed the distance and wanted to make this an inside fight. Where Wayne went wrong is best broken down by the old boxing saying “Never hook with a hooker” which means when you’re in a fight with a fighter with an exceptional hook you don’t want to get in an exchange utilizing your own hook because if you get caught it will be game over.
