he was all over OEL all game. knocked him down 4-5 times. felt bad for OEL at one point, seems like a nice dude. didn't retaliate at all. just took the abuse. and then just watched Marchand take over the game

About to be talking a lot of **** on here about the Stars now. Sticks finally coming alive, Oettinger and Holtby finally getting a set rotation in net to get some momentum…
Bishop finally making his return in Cedar Park on Thursday. It’ll be interesting to see how things shake out with Oettinger, Holtby, Khoudobin, and Bishop. Think you gotta flip the last two for whatever you can get with the way Oettinger has been playing. And Holtby has been solid lately.

24-9 goal differential over the last 7 is a pretty solid catch up on the rest of the season for us. Been killing it since the Wild kicked our *** 7-1.

Finally looked at the standings after swearing them off a few weeks ago. How does Winnipeg have the leg up on the Stars here? As much as I’ve kept up with hockey lately, guess I’m not up to date on tie breakers. Thought ROW was the big tie breaker, but apparently not?Minnesota is on a 7 game win streak as well

Would make sense if head to head is factored in prior to ROW. Think we’ve lost to Winnipeg a time or two this season. Disregard.

For hockey why is there an emphasis on total goals scored by teams? And OT wins/losses?

That doesn't make sense. If two teams are tied, I am pretty sure it goes to winning percentage, then regulation wins. They are in the same division.
Doesnt make sense the Jets are placed higher.
