I wonder how much AT&T is gonna try and charge for MMS and Tethering. Especially tethering, I don't see them allowing that for free.

I'll wait until they Jailbreak 3.0. Copy & Paste is not enough for me to upgrade. I've done without it this long

AT&T already confirmed that it's free. I posted an article a few pages back.

I posted how to get MMS and tethering on 3.0 the other day. It's a couple of pages back. I've been using both for the last week.

just talked to AT&T...they said that MMS will be available on 3G or 3Gs until Fall...smh

it sucks that the 2g iphone users like myself still wont have MMS because the og iphones dont have the hardware to support it according to the apple store SMHso i guess im going to end up buying a 3g one for 99 or the 3gs for 199(once att offically has MMS ready

HOW TO ENABLE MMS & TETHERING.

someone test this out, i got tethering enabled but i can't see if it works because i'm using the phone with no sim right now.
download this file,

then open itunes, and then, go to Start>Run>cmd
Copy this exactly..

now when you go to iTunes, when you go to restore, you can now choose the ipcc file in addition to the ispw file, find the file you downloaded, and let itinstall, reboot your phone and that's it..beats the method used up there?..

It was easy. I used 2 computers though. I used my imac to sync my iphone and update to 3.0. I used my laptop with itunes 8.2.10 to update thecarrier settings (ATT_US.ipcc file)

I have a first gen iphone and finally got to dl the OS update but i noticed we cant send pics to other phones yet... lame. I also noticed they wiped out 2pages of apps and idk why they did that?

i probably forgot when someone told me about it but when will at&t customers be able to send pics to other phones?
