I honestly don’t care anymore. If we lose this series, I wish the Lakers fans nothing but the best with the circle jerk celebration they will engage in.

I think the entire series is centering around how Doc is handling the center rotation and in that regard, he’s engaged in bad process all season and it’s finally catching up to him
sure Trez can avg 19 a game and win 6moty and you can win games that way, but it was so clear by January IMO that he wouldn’t be that playable in the playoffs. I felt that the clips should of considered trading Zu at the deadline just to find a center doc felt confident in
they lost the game in the 2nd quarter and the Trez minutes in general. Zu playing 21 minutes in an OT game and being a +9 in a game they lost by 2 speaks volumes. Doc matched Trez’s minutes with boban which is...wow. Literally the moment he benched Trez and threw Morris at center the clips almost won
After a great game 3 doc puts up an all timer in game 4. Still think the clips come out of this series, so long as paul George decides to not be shook ones at some point, but they’re mired in bad process that won’t get them past LAL and MIL

I felt like he was great the last 3 seasons and should of been COTY last year and in the running this year.
I also am not one to call for coaching changes because I think at its core most times coaching changes are ancillary
that’s Not the case here in this series IMO
The data and eye test with Zu has been overwhelming in this series and all season. His rotations are directly losing games in this series and idk how you can retain him if he blows this series. Even with PG going MIA the clippers are blowing the Mavs off the floor in Zu minutes

What really kills me..like absolutely boggles my mind....
remember when we had boban and he started becoming a factor for us? Then teams just startedputting him in the pick and roll and killing his big *** until we had to take him out? Why the hell are we not doing the same? These isos are crazy, especially when PG is playing like Jerome Robinson.

There’s a lot of scheme and player rotation things we can question so far in the series, but if our second supposed superstar wasn’t playing like a fringe rotation player, none of that stuff matters probably. Plus, the Mavs’ effort level has been consistent better than ours. Those are the primary reasons the series is tied.
Thank goodness for the Morris trade though. He’s easily been our second best player in the series.
And I’m not optimistic at all about PG snapping out of it. Him passing up a bunch of good looks yesterday is a real bad sign, IMO. And if we do lose the series, they’re probably gonna need to send PG for deprogramming and hypnotherapy to even be able to get him on the court

Doc Rivers coached teams be frustrating as hell! Giving me Lob City Era Playoff vibes all over again! If we lose this series, Doc's gotta go! Can't stress enough of his lack of in game adjustments and rotations. Why can't we have nice things? SMH!! Gotta get Pandemic P to snap out of it and get back to who he is. We should be able to win this series but as most of you guys mentioned, if we don't get our heads out our asses, we ain't getting passes the Lakers or Milwaukee for the Chip!

the clips should just lock up everyone else and let luka get 80-90 points by himself or something
hell put lou on him the whole time but the same time let lou loose on offense as well and see who can score the most between the two
that sounds like a joke but dallas' defense can be so bad that i think the clips will come up on top, limit seth and burke and jr scoring and they cant win many games
i was gon say just let pg and seth go one on one but the way pg is playing theres no way he wins

From an energy standpoint, the 3rd quarter of the game yesterday felt like a matinee game in February against a lottery team. Mind boggling and frustrating how that happens.

idk I just can’t get to the level of worry against a team we’re clearly superior than. They’ve just got to snap out of it and I think they will whether it be in6 or 7 games

The thing is, with PG playing the way he has been, I don’t know that we are clearly superior. And I’m not confident he’s going to figure it out.

+1 I'm not confident that the changes needed to make quick work of the mavs will actually take place...coaching wise and PG changing his approach.
Even if the changes aren't made, we can still eek out the series, but a title? Nah.

is saying. When we’ve played near our true level we’ve built huge leads. The issue is that’s been a total of like 30 minutes all series lol. We’re gonna need PG to have an efficent 25-30 pt game consistently for us to win this series and compete in the next round(s). I am not confident in that happening because PG looks shook than a mug

My frustration with doc is that he's been much too rigid. Just like dantoni believes his team didn't win because they didn't do what needed to be done well enough, it appears to me that doc feels the same at times.
Hours before game 5, there are more great ideas in this thread about how to win this series than doc has shown in the last 4 games. There's a wealth of basketball knowledge here, but doc has probably forgotten more about basketball than we know.
PG may very well show signs of life tonight. (I believe coaching should be telling him about his shot selection as well, especially early in game.)
The Harrell/zu thing should be a no brainer at this point, right? Harrell isn't even doing the things he does well to even make this a discussion...due to being out so long.
Drop pnr should basically be scrapped, right? Especially when luka is handling the ball.
Kawhi/PG need to be the primary defenders on Luka...NOT JUST IN CRUNCH TIME...FOR THE WHOLE GAME. right?
Sure, change pace with Morris and Beverly if he's available...but, kawhi and PG are primary.
Fight over screens (featuring Luka) instead of just dying on them, right?
Get the ball out of lukas hands early, right?

i love close and great games but tonight is the night the clips need to show they are the better team, the best team and crush their soul by winning big
and really hate to compare them to the lakers again but they need to do what they did to the blazers last night and just destroy the confidence they built two days ago
