How come I can't put a flat top hairstyle on MyPlayer

I am enjoying this game very much but 2k needs to fix this problem where you can just run towards a player side where they dribbling the ball and almost everytime its a guarantee that they will lose the ball

Tried doing it against A.I and i ended up having at least 11 steals and some of them just went out of bounds or another player picking up the ball
