Finally got the Rattlesnakes in hand and maaaaan.....quite possibly the worst built 997 I’ve owned. Terrible shape and stitching.

About to rage cop something else to take away the disappointment.

It turned out that only European store - YME which was supposed to have them dropping online is now doing instore first and then if any left would drop them online, but from what i know they will have only one pair of 9.5 for example, so no chances to grab them.

It’s a custom pair by Soso. 16 oz candy weft that they had as an option on a Kickstarter campaign and their website 2.5 years ago. I end up wearing a grey selvedge pair I got from them way more often, which is why they don’t have much fading yet.

Atmos elephant 997s anyone? The one thing I'm noticing is you can't change the heel/tongue text stitching color. Hopefully that's just a temporary error. Not that I'm making another pair anyways.
