i'm still sticking with they've been corrected for uniform rules. 
the base on the china's is supposed to be the same colour as the midsole, heal and healcup... but it's white. (but it's still possible that the base is 3M?)

When you said the Lakers suck, that wasn't about the sneaker. When you make idiotic comments, you should expect to be called out for them. Whenever I travel to the east coast, I see Kobes all the time. Unless you can still find Carpe Diems in stores, you can dead that argument.

I would not really think its because of Uniform Rules. They wore the Grinches and that does not even match anything on the Lakers colors. It might just be an ID?

We are still waiting on a confirmation for these shoes. We should know about the 3D's by Tuesday and the Sunsets by Thursday.  Since these are quick strike releases, we normally do not find out about them until 1-2 days before their release date.  Please note, if we will be getting these shoes, they will be extremely limited like the East LA release.

Eastbay has the wrong photo posted. Most likely that was the sample. The "zoom air" will be colored and not white. There are pics earlier in this thread where someone showed the actual shoes. They look great.

As Dark Steel said, the picture we have up is a sample picture.  Once we get the shipment in for these shoes, we will work on getting the picture updated.

You're talking about travel? And people are telling you about where we live. Some of you crack me up. And you're talking about a limited release pair of sneakers? Are you serious? If you're Nike where would you release more kicks at? East or west coast? Where are most Laker fans? Where do most limited Kobe's drop at? And the GR Kobe's like the del sols that you dudes say are hard to find, sit. People wear them for basketball, but nobody wears Kobe's casually, so they don't sell out.
