it was either that i was gonna get the 50d or this l series lens.

i chose the lens.

Boricua I'm using the same equipment as you. It appears that you think C&C means compliments and cheers since you get heated over any criticism.

Anyhow, I don't have my cam with me because I have priorities in school. It's also too cold up here to go around taking pics.

Nice pic but it still don't look like you set your tripod up equidistant between the bridges.

BTW here's the original audi pic. I agree it's horrible granted it was handheld going about 210kph but I think i did a decent job PPin.

BTW, I still stand that your pictures looks like it's from a P&S cameara - underexpose, etc etc etc .. anyways, if you wanted to PP it at least itwould of have done a better job - here's my take at PPin - 3 mins worth and about 1 month experience!

Oh, I left some blemishes so you can see what I did!

It was my intent to reduce vibrancy. Your colors are over saturated and looks like it was taken from a child's coloring book.

Yes, it will be DX and we may see it… on Monday, February 9th (I am not 100% about the date - either Feb 9th or Feb 16th). Price: EUR 250 [$320 USD]. One aspherical element. Yehaaaa!

I put the final nail on this rumor myself - found it on a web site that I will not disclose (not dpreview). You got to trust me on this one folks. I will monitor this site to see if something else will leak.

Sorry Yarrh, I'm not about to get in a pissing contest with you because I truly don't care - Notice that I said I left blemishes so you can see what Idid. Meaning supersaturation, power lines not completly removed, desaturation to everything and a couple of other things. It took me no lie about 3 minutes ..To tell you the truth even like that I still think it looks better than your job (you didnt isolate your subject, your sky is blown out, there's no DoF -my eyes wonder to the two blownout tailights .. probably because you oversaturated and tone down the vibrance, the crop is to tight and a few other things )where you corrected exposure and desaturated the image - IMO I couldn't even tell that you did anything until you posted the edited picture again,that's why I thought the picture you posted the second time "ORIGINAL" was the 1st picture after PPing, meaning that your PPing didn't standout from the original picture and It still look like it came out of a P&S ..

Here's another attempt and this time it took me 5 minutes and like I said all I have is month playing with this PS thing and yes I think it looks betterthan your editing...

P.S. I'm glad my editing look something out of a Coloring book like that when I post my pictures you already know they coming straight from cam ..

btw... circuit city had the 70-300mm for $400 (not bad, not bad) and i was like i'll go home and sleep on it.. went back today and it was gone, but went tobest buy after and saw it for $650

. I know you can get it online inthe 400ish range but still the price difference is redic

to my nikon people.. for nature, bird watching type pics.. would it be worth the 70-300 or should i go for a 400mm?
