1. Rent still has to be paid in these semi empty buildings. So it is inefficient if people are working from home in that sense.
2. Has it been proven the quality of work done at home is on the same level had that work been done in the office? Legit asking.
Im much more efficient at home. Less distractions overall. I just put on cnbc in the side as white noise and can focus on work.
Yea I think most of us believe we are more efficient at home. Not sure if it's true or not but most of us think it is.
No it's true. It's just that team building/communication suffers. There are lots of articles in business journals and places like HBR.
2 things are critical to me. Trusting your employees. Facilitating communication for those people who are bad/reluctant, is key.
And punishing those who suck while not punishing those who don't.
I wasn't accusing.I'm just explaining how/why allowing folks to work from home can be viewed as an inefficient practice from the perspective of those that have to pay the rent. Nothing futher.
I'm glad NT can embed Bluesky posts now.
Now, some social media posts are claiming that Trump, once he takes office next year, may issue another check — a likelihood that experts say is extremely slim.
Posts on TikTok are suggesting Trump might issue another round of checks, while on X, some users are questioning if they're in line for a payment.
We’ll all get First Class Tickets to Stalingrad to work on da mines so we’re ending up ahead either way. Stimies were outs not ups
Trump sent two stimulus checks in his first term. Here's what experts say about another payment.
Some voters are hoping President-elect Donald Trump may send out another stimulus check. Here's what the experts say.www.cbsnews.com
We live in the dumbest timeline...

"All I will say I am not surprised that I have not been named, but that does not mean I'm not gonna do other things in the future," Donalds said, appearing reserved and tight-lipped.
"Have you, has he asked you?"
"Uh, no," Donalds replied, "there's some other things that I'm looking at going forward. I'm not gonna talk about them now."
The Florida Republican is still defending Trump.
"What we, what Donald Trump's election is about is bringing competency and reality back to D.C. in the White House, making sure that the job gets done on behalf of the American people," he also said on CNN, "regardless of their race, regardless of their religion, regardless of their creed."

‘Not surprised’: Byron Donalds reacts to snub from Trump’s nearly-all white administration
Just two weeks and two days before Election Day, the Trump campaign website blared, "Trump Campaign to Host Black Men’s Barbershop Talk Roundtable Event in Philadelphia, PA with Congressman Byron Donalds."The program promised to "focus on the challenges facing Black men today, including economic...www.rawstory.com
Apparently, Cornell West wasn't alone in hating the presence of Obama in the White House....
Question.1. Don’t see the inefficiency here.
2. Without looking, I think so. I think I’ve seen articles.
Anecdotal: Most of my team has been working from home for years. Some were doing it prior to the pandemic. Certain we’re more efficient.
These BEAUTIFUL BLACK QUEENS HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO WATCH AMERICA BURN BECAUSE AND WERE JUST TOOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE
I’ll play…none of our workload has decreased and we don’t waste an hour walking to and from meetings. We can easily have meetings where the room reserved is a 10+ minute walk from our respective offices. My immediate team has 8 people on it, I think. Department just over 50. In person meetings were always a hassle.Question.
Hypothetically speaking.
If they were demanding that your team return to the office 5x per week and you had to provide data/evidence supporting your claim that your team is more efficient while working remotely, what would you present?
Not trying to argue but just asking.
