We live in the dumbest timeline...
Voting for socialism from the anti-socialism party that demonizes it is next level.

The price of 🍳 and 🥛 left them NO CHOICE. Eggs were practically free when we were in lockdown and dying in streets and overflowing morgues and hospitals had to rent refrigerated trucks for da bodies. Milk 🥛 was flowing as freely as the blood was when 1 million folks died but hey. THEY HAD NO CHOICE

The funny thing is of all the items that inflated, milk barely budged. Eggs went crazy for a bit but seems to have settled back.

I’m trying to understand the situation and the reasons behind his resignation. From what I’ve gathered, it seems this could be a strategic move by Trump to filter out senators who pledged loyalty but later distanced themselves, such as Mitch McConnell and others. There’s also speculation that Matt Gaetz might potentially replace Marco Rubio in the Senate. Can anyone provide more insight into this?

Um, he would’ve had to be vetted and the report will come out then? There was no hiding from this report for that creep.

Question.

Hypothetically speaking.

If they were demanding that your team return to the office 5x per week and you had to provide data/evidence supporting your claim that your team is more efficient while working remotely, what would you present?

Not trying to argue but just asking.
There are tons of studies both ways, just pick your side then find the evidence.

Not addressed to me obviously, but in certain sectors like IT, there is usually an objective measure of productivity so for example help fesk has trouble tickets. Likely as a result of your contract to the place you are providing that service or as a requirement from your employer, there is an SLA, service level agreement. For simplicity sake, let's say you are expected to turn 40 tickets a week. By the way this was the exact number when I worked at Ft Sill Network Enterprise Center, you fall behind that, emails start getting sent, meetings start getting had, you get on paperwork, etc.

So obviously it'd be very easy for management to say hey since you startied working from home, your metrics are failing/the same/better. So of all sectors, IT are probably the main why like **** that why do I need to be in the office I am doing the same thing or more from home. Many of the resistant bosses can only argue "because they're in the office, because I am the boss and I said so, because that's how it has always been" as far as why RTO is better/needed, and 99% of them want US/YOU to come back into the office but yea if you need them they'll be at the house, **** traffic and all that ****. Amazon is dealing with that right now in a big way

I don't know how it works in other industries, accounting for example, are you "prosessing" 20 invoices a week? But regardless, if there is no measurable metric to guage productivity, you can't really quantify that your employers are less productive WFH and again it's just a control thing and a "because they are in the office," like most people don't spend half the day on ESPN/Fox News/Fantasy Sports/etc and take infinity smoking breaks a day.

Sorry for the rant, just something that bothered me. It's why I switched jobs so many times since the pandemy, they promise oh its full remote we are never going to the office, then turns into 1 day a week, then 2, etc. and I know where it's going so I dip. Should be added that as a Sys Admin, I was working on virtual computers that don't really exist so there's no touch labor component either. You want me to get in my car and drive to an office, to still have to get on my laptop and log into the internet cloud to work? The internet/cloud is everywhere.

Most Republicans in Congress hate Matt. He’s a self serving jerk that isn’t liked. They hate him for what he did to Kevin McCarthy (Big Kev was a Huge Fundraiser). Keep in mind that this ethics thing was initiated by Republicans to get back at him for what he did to Kev. Trump isn’t playing 5D chess. He wants bootlickers that aren’t Black to fill is cabinet. Republicans are down for the cause so long as it ain’t people they hate like Matt or Laura Loomer. On the Florida Senate seat I suspect that will go to Lara Trump.

Eggs went crazy because of an epidemic that killed enough chickens to impact the egg supply.

Now, RFK is coming in to make sure we get more of those epidemics, in the name of pseudoscience.

Too late!

Gas is another thing people blow way out of proportion.

Gas = $2.94 = We live in a utopia. There is no violence, we found a cure for Cancer, every kid will get a puppy for Christmas.

Gas = $3.16 = I can't feed my family. We are on the brink of WW3. Bin Laden is still alive. 9/11 all over again.

yet, Yet,YEt and YETTTTTTTTTTTTTT clowns will BUY $200K FORD SUPERDUTY diesels to take their kids to soccer practice and never use da truck for work and then cry about gas prices.

I remember when gas was super cheap during the pandemic and I remember people weren’t doing a big dance celebrating.

Gas at $2.95 under a Dem = I can’t afford to feed my family ( clowns making 6 figures) trans people are destroying schools (clowns don’t have kids) and the border is out of control (you live in Wyoming and no one wants to live there)

Gas is $4 under a Republican = You got to pay to play B. My President is Zaddy and HANDSOME.

I actually got money back from that…. Biden also suspended my college loans for most of the last 4 years, due to republicans hating on a 5% return plan that Trump is going to cancel forcing me to join the 10% plan instead.

Meanwhile that ***** Trump cost me most of my tax return this year when the damn department of commerce charged me for unpaid dues given to the federal retirement plan from 2020 when that dumbass Trump temporarily suspended employee donations to make it look like he had the power to cut taxes.

Maybe I am wrong but people are really going to be surprised how much their money gets ****** up. Trump had an Obama economy and ran it into the ground, now he has a barely recovered from his last term economy and everything he is saying is going to crash it.

I don’t see how people haven’t learned how bad his business practices are. Everything he touches turns to trash:

Now we can just add our wallets and civil protections to the list.

Again…we need a recount

While I feel for certain people

Others, I can’t wait for them to learn the hard way

FAFO continues:

Bondi’s confirmation process is expected to face fewer hurdles.

“The thing that really was troubling to me, these students in universities in our country — whether they’re here as Americans or if they’re here on student visas — and they’re out there saying, ‘I support Hamas,'” she said in the Oct. 23, 2023, interview. “Frankly, they need to be taken out of our country, or the FBI needs to be interviewing them right away when they’re saying, ‘I support Hamas. I am Hamas.’ That’s not saying I support all these poor Palestinians who are trapped in Gaza.”

A number of protests in the weeks after the attacks included people who praised the attacks, although most of the protesters focused on condemning Israel’s counterattacks and on the suffering of Gaza Palestinians. Over the past year-plus, some hardline pro-Palestinian activists have continued to evince support for Hamas.

The Republican Party platform, released in July, calls for the deportation of noncitizens who back Hamas and terrorism, and pledges to “make our college campuses safe and patriotic again.” Trump and his advisers have also called for deporting foreign students who organize pro-Hamas protests.

Hackers for the Chinese government were able to deeply penetrate U.S. telecommunications infrastructure in ways that President Joe Biden’s administration hasn’t yet acknowledged, according to new reports from the Washington Post and New York Times. The hackers were able to listen to phone calls and read text messages, reportedly exploiting the system U.S. authorities use to wiretap Americans in criminal cases. The worst part? The networks are still compromised and it may take incredibly drastic measures to boot them from U.S. systems.

The hackers behind the infiltration of U.S. telecom infrastructure are known to Western intelligence agencies as Salt Typhoon, and this particular breach of U.S. equipment was first reported in early October by the Wall Street Journal. But Sen. Mark Warner, a Democrat from Virginia, spoke with the Washington Post and New York Times this week to warn the public that this is so much worse than we initially thought, dubbing it “the worst telecom hack in our nation’s history.” And those articles based on Warner’s warnings were published late Thursday.
