So 9-5ers that fall in line after 5. They may not even get their vote in if the lines are long? That is how I'm interpreting those closing times.

Another reason why election day should be a national holiday. The goal should always be to get more people voting and this is an obvious first step in increasing turnout and its ridiculous we haven't done it yet.

Def should be a holiday or at least make it on a weekend, another one of the dumb things from the past ppl just roll with n never change ...n if y'all don't know most states give you a couple hours of paid leave to go vote on the clock, tell you employer you coming in late or leaving early n flourish

The same. White privilege is taking hits but as long as a system of white supremacy is allowed to continue existing and flourishing, white privilege will continue to exist.

Any time things are altered in a way to lessen WS and WP, they find a new way to continue. I do hope I'm wrong but history won't allow me to think I am.

Definitely remaining optimistic. Change takes time, and some places will definitely take longer than others (bible belt, the south) but the telling part is you can see that they're starting to get scared of losing their privilege.

I see it making WS go into undercover overdrive but it'll also expose the intricacies of the system faster and hopefully expedite it's downfall.
