The GOP had a sensible middle, people like you let it erode, let white supremacy settle in, and painted the Dems liberalism as extreme. Everytime the centrist and Liberal Dems tried to do something left for the past 40 years, people just like Comey have been there to fear monger. My god Al Gore told people we should not blow the surplus on wars and tax cuts, that we should pay down the debt and spend it on health care, and he got called a socialist. I bet Comey vote Bush though. McCain picked Palin as a running mate, yet Comey still gave him money. Romney economic and social policy would not be far from Trump's, but Comey gave him money.

People like Comey are the worst. They don't care what kind of havoc policies of white supremacy, crony capitalism, austerity, and injustice do to the non-affluent white people in America. He just wants the person inflicting this harm to do it with "grace" and "respect"

If we didn't have the last 40 years of GOP buffoonery, the Dems stupidly always trying to find middle ground with a party racing to the right, we would not have the current state of affairs.

Things will be farrrr from perfect but if for the past 40 years Liberal Democrats ruled the country would not be as **** as it is. The GOP would have a strong moderate wing and the Socialism would be less appealing because the problems we would face would be relatively smaller. But the damage is done, and more extreme measures are needed. Comey should have thought about such things when he was voting GOP for all those years. That sooner or later the Dems would stop marching right, and people like him would have to face reality about what the GOP really is.

And Comey is 57. Dude became eligible to vote in 1978. So that means he was of voting age in early 1980s and 2000s, the last couple times moderates jumped ship from the GOP. But he only does it after Trump personally burns him, and his party doesn't back him up.

Obama was everything he claimed you wanted in a President and he refused to be seen with him in public.

You get no say James Comey, moderates been selling out other Dems for 40 years. I'm sick and tired of the Democratic coalition having to serve as a refugee camp for right-wing moderates that got burnt by the GOP.

Get that Dravid Brooks, Andrew Sullivan steez out my face.

White people who think like Comey are exactly what's wrong with this country. They claim to not be okay with injustice, racism, and bigotry but want those affected by it to respond in a way they deem "appropriate" or "moderate". Those are the type of people to be "bothered" by police killings of black and brown people, but are more offended by HOW those affected respond in protest.

Not even a week after Trump had to walk back his comments at the Helsinki press conference, he now accuses himself of spreading fake news earlier this week when he said "I accept our intelligence community's conclusion that Russia's meddling in the 2016 election took place. Could be other people also. There's a lot of people out there."
Fake news because it was all one big hoax all along! Checkmate libs.

Sounds like dimentia is setting in. What exactly is a hoax at this point? The people indicted? The the Russian interference?
