A couple years ago, a guy I knew was telling me about a New Zealand program to increase immigration.
I scoffed at the idea of living there, but now I look with envy at their leadership, specifically Jacinda.
There are so many attractive options out there that I don't fear leaving here, I only fear leaving everyone behind.

Nah not the actual Libertarian movement. Many Republicans and conservatives co-opt the Libertarian moniker because tAxEs BaD and BiG GuviMEnT but they aren't the real deal.

I'm sorry but actual libertarians are trash too. They have been complicit in helping the GOP and conservative movements wreck things. They whine and complain from time to time about police brutality and weed, but then they always come home and help the conservative movement make things more regressive.

Real libertarians joined with the conservative movement because they got pissed about the Civil Rights Act.

The GOP's hard turn toward white supremacacy as something to unify behind started with Barry Goldwater. A libertarian hero.

I'm not sure to whom you are referring.

The Fedora reference implies libertarian but the Gramsci reference implies Marxist.

If you're referring to a poster or public figure, who is libertarian; guess what, you can't claim that racism is subordinate to classism if your worldvew doesn't believe in either. *taps head*

Now if you're referring to me, I don't know what you're going off of. I do call out politicians and companies who use the struggles of marginalized groups and the language of social justice advocates to plaster over their complicity in a destructive and grossly unequal economic system. I mention that capital, in general, and real estate capital, in particular, handcuffs Democratic politicians, especially officials in big metro areas, from doing very much to reform the criminal-legal system let along pursue policies that are informed by police and/or prison abolition. I fail to see how pointing out capitalism, as a force that frequently buttresses and often times depends on white supremacy, is putting "class first."

Now, if you're talking about the Marxists out there who do say that racism is just a sideshow to class struggle, I join you in saying that if these uprisings and the events leading up to it don't change their minds, maybe nothing will. I just haven't seen that expressed by anyone in this thread.

That totally makes sense because in this instance specifically, it's a lot easier to talk about it than be about it. But if push comes to shove...

I visited Montreal a couple years back, loved it there. Clean, beautiful and beautiful women everywhere. Very white city though. We talked to a few locals and when we mentioned we were Americans they gave us a weird look and we already knew we had to respond and say we didn't vote for trump. :smh:

I am not sure what fields y'all specialize or have experience in but if you, Based Jesus Based Jesus or anyone else is serious about New Zealand (NZ), check out New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. It's a business development entity within NZ that helps to grow local businesses/industries in international markets. They post jobs randomly but intersect with almost every field imaginable.

I only know about them because they tried to poach a few years back but I recall the biggest draw (personally) is that some of their positions allow you to get a diplomatic passport aka you would have immunity :wow:

WEAK. What a weak statement. This is why George W Bush is a LOSER. Why is he trying to make peace? NO. You have to DO-MI-NATE. You have to destroy. You have to burn. You have to show them who is the boss.

This is not a time for discussion or discourse. It is a time for disruption and destruction. We have to DESTROY the libs. Send them a message that, in this country, speaking out will NEVER be tolerated, unless you are speaking out about beach access or getting a haircut. No American should have to go 3 months without a haircut. That is the real injustice in America right now.

George needs to know his place. It is DISRESPECTFUL and OUT OF LINE for him to imply that an American president is not doing a SUPERJOB. And not one mention about how handsome Donald J Trump looked yesterday holding up that Bible? George Bush? NAH. More like, George Soros's Puppet.
