A Realtor who blogs about Placer County real estate reports that the foreclosed Rocklin home of former Sacramento Kings player Kevin Martin sold Friday for $905,000, about 12 percent higher that its listing price.

Patrick Hake of Remax Gold has been following the saga of the home for a few months.

After defaulting on the loan Martin had tried to sell it through a short sale and had a contract for $941,000, but the sale was rejected and the lender foreclosed. The property was listed for sale at $810,000.

Martin bought the Whitney Oaks property in 2007 for about $1.9 million. Martin also recently sold his condo at a loss.

He was traded to the Houston Rockets last year.

Any interest in Flynn now that Rubio is coming? He was the early favorite to be selected by the Kings that draft.

Sooooo its really looking like we are going after a guard with the 7th pick

Just to clarify, the guards in the draft Knight/Kemba/Jimmer are better than Flynn right...

Welcome back.

I am not big fan of undersized scoring PGs like Flynn, but it looks like this draft is full of them in the first round. I am just afraid of drafting another Quincy Douby.

If this rumor has even a gram of credibility, then I hope we don't get a new arena and the Kings move

2011 NBA Trade Speculation: Jazz-Kings Deal in the Works?

The 2011 NBA Draft is a short while away, and teams have begun bringing in prospects to evaluate their talent. Some players' draft stock has fallen dramatically, while others have risen substantially in the past few weeks; a trend that will occur up until that June 23 date in Newark,New Jersey when all is finally said and done.

Recently, Chad Ford (ESPN Analyst) posted a tweet revealing the Sacramento King's adoration of point guard Brandon Knight from Kentucky University. At 6'3" tall, Knight averaged just under 18 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds per game in his freshman season at KU.

Currently in the rotation at point guard for the Kings are Beno Udrih and Marcus Thornton. They are decent players, but the Kings need an all-star caliber point guard to lead the team, night in and night out. Enter Brandon Knight.

With the 7th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings can't realistically hope to select Brandon Knight. Knight is a near-consensus No. 3 overall pick to the Utah Jazz. In order for the Kings to grab their future point guard, a trade must be panned out before the draft day of June 23.

A trade involving the Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings could look something like this:

Utah Receives:

Tyreke Evans, SG

7th Overall Pick

Sacramento Receives:

3rd Overall Pick

C.J. Miles, SG/SF

Raja Bell, SG

Another trade possibility could involve three teams. A Jazz-Kings-Blazers deal could look like this:

Utah Receives:

Tyreke Evans, SG

Marcus Thornton, PG/SG

7th Overall Pick

Sacramento Receives

Rudy Fernandez, PG/SG3rd Overall Pick

Greg Oden, C/PF

Portland Receives:

Devin Harris, PG

C.J. Miles, SG/SF

*Breaking this trade down:

First, Utah sends Devin Harris and C.J. Miles to Portland.

Secondly, Portland sends Rudy Fernandez and Greg Oden to Sacramento.

The Kings, in turn, give Tyreke Evans and Marcus Thornton to Utah.

The Jazz then swap draft picks with the Kings. (3rd to Sac. and 7th to Utah.)

Are these trades realistic?

Will Brandon Knight be a Sacramento King next year?

Does Portland get in on the deal for Devin Harris?

Comment below and tell me what you think!

I think the guy that wrote the article is a Jazz fan/writer and made that trade up based on Chad Ford's tweet that the Kings love Knight.

Well, that means we aren't drafting Knight. Two years ago, the early favorite was Flynn. Then it was Monroe last year. I do like Knight's size tho. And some other team would have taken him already like the article suggests.

I need to hear what Jerry Reynolds has to say in the coming weeks. He always accidently says too much.
