Only way that happens is if a qb gets hurt in this final preseason game. He has to get cut by the end of the month

There's a market for Jimmy. Teams are just waiting until the Niners cut him, so they don't have to pay that contract.

Yeah a lot of naysayers on here going to be surprised when jimmy lasts like 10 seconds on waiver wire. Teams don’t want to trade because they know one of them will get him in exchange for nothing. And I’m already having nightmares of him donning a Seahawks uniform and beating us.

If John Lynch really feels crazy tho he could try to draw it out one week more. If they are willing to burn a roster spot they could keep him after final 53 cut (aug 30) until the night before week 1 (sept 7) when his contract would become guaranteed

And if he’s going to Seattle that might be the move. Give them 0 days to practice and prepare with him before the season starts.

I dont know about that. There has never really been an argument that Jimmy doesnt deserve to be on a team. There was never really an argument that teams wouldnt be interested in signing Jimmy as a free agent.

There wasnt and isnt a market to trade for him. That is not the same thing as what you are saying.
