Was browsing through Instagram when I seen a guy post 2 pictures from moments that happened today in the World of Sports. it got me thinking, I feel like EVERYTHING has been covered about sports here in S&T, but 1 thing I don't think I've ever seen was a thread about moments in sports history on certain days. I think it'll be a good idea, each day something significant happened, someone could make a post about it & we can all discuss. Can be an ongoing thing. I'll start it off.

LeBron's signature moment. 48 points, 25 straight points, & 29 of his team's last 30 points, in a pivotal Game 5 of the ECF.

Robert Horry's GW 3 pointer vs Sacramento. Game 4 of the WCF. The difference between this series going back to Sac 2-2, as opposed to 3-1 & virtually being over.

Great thread OP..
I still remember that Cavs game. Bron was pretty much a beast  that day. Cat looked like he can't do no wrong on the court. And that Horry shot...

Game 6 of the 2002 Western Conference Finals was 10 years ago today not game 4

I'm suprised no one has made a thread crying about what supposedly happened in that game lately.

Nice idea.

I was already a fan, but that was the game Lebron became my favorite player in the league.

Michael Jordan hits the game winning shot over Byron Russell in Game 1 of the 1997 NBA Finals.

That performance by LeBron was amazing... so glad I have the full-length game on DVD.

What made it so crazy was he would literally just get the ball and fade left, fade right... didn't matter. It was going in regardless. He was almost falling out of bounds in the baseline corner on some of them.

that jordan game 1 shot seems like yesterday to me. the mailman couldn't deliver on sunday.

the 97 jazz were the bulls toughest finals opponent imo. they coulda won games 1, 5, and 6 but jordan was just cold blooded in the 4th quarter.

Shaq's my favorite athlete of All-Time. How did I let that slip my mind?
