I mean, we all know what we're getting in the Fast series. 2 hours of escapism. And every review I read mentions its not Oscar worthy, not this, not that, and then they finish by saying how much they enjoyed it, and give it 4 outta 5 stars.
If you can't sit still for 2 hours and enjoy some corny jokes and fast action then you too damn tense. Enjoy your Korean Murder She Wrotes cuz.

Escapism is great if it's done right. Fast 5 relied too much on corny jokes and the serious stuff was ridiculously bad. The action was done right though for the most part. The chase scenes and vault escape were awesome. But man, The Rock...

Simmons and Carolla said it best... Early in the movie it was like The Rock thought he had walked into an epic, all-time great film. Trying too hard. Then about halfway through it was like someone tapped him on the shoulder and whispered what they were actually doing in his ear..

What are your thoughts on it? It's one of my favs but I think they could have cut the time down, which I believe is what the studio wanted.

Just watched The Girl w. the Dragon Tattoo & The Girl who Played with Fire.....the latter was the better out of the 2 films. Next up, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest to complete the trilogy. If any of yall got Netflix, all of them are streamed....
