Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Alright J, Alien is at Sci-Fi.  And watch the first 2, then stop.  Trust me, just stop after 2.  But those 2 back to back should entertain you pretty good.  First one is much more serious, more drawn out, slower developing, while the second kicks the door down and gets goin and isn't as tense as the first one.

I like Ridley Scott and psychological thrillers so I'll be on the lookout for it.
And yeah Dub, I don't care all that much for Cameron either. The first two Terminators and Aquaman were dope, but yeah, other than that I'm pretty indifferent to him (Avatar was just really cool to look at...I don't see myself ever watching it again).

  Love that movie.

And I damn near give him more credit with Aliens than I do with the Terminators.  Even though 2 was imo, the beginning of the true "blockbuster" type movies.  To me that movie was just different when it came out.  And then when ID4 came out in 96, I knew movies weren't the same in terms of how they felt so to speak.  Does that make sense?

I sooooo cannot wait for this movie to get made.  I can't wait to see the casting either.

But damn, this is going to be UNEASY to watch in the theatre in terms of the dialogue.

It's just gonna be flat out difficult.

I would wonder if he would soften it up a bit during the actual shooting of the film, but knowing Q, he'll probably make it worse and even more controversial.  In fact as I was finishing it, I kept thinkin about how he comes up with ideas while shooting, he might completely change the ending 20 different ways.  But I'm anxious to see how it goes.

And Smith would be wise to give this a go.  Won't be easy, but I can def see him doing this and it working out for him.  And I know for a fact Sam L gettin a role, he's a must.  I could see him being Stephen.  Wonder what the hell QT wants Lady Gaga for though?  Some 12 second part?  Seems like a waste of time there.  But he always knows what he's doin, so I guess I should just wait.

I seriously contemplated taking Mean Streets over The French Connection. It's by far the most underrated Scorsese crime movie and De Niro is incredible in it.

If you love Casino/Goodfellas/Taxi Driver but haven't seen Mean Streets, you need to make it a priority.
