It’s due to several factors. The line, the suspense in that scene, what’s at stake, the setting, and the general iconicness of the shot. It’s just so memorable and timeless.

It’s pretty mediocre but there are some pretty funny parts. Strong performances from Ritter and Jeffry Jones. Absolutely worth a watch. Some dark macabre humor and some good cameos and Easter eggs from other famous tvs shows and movies from that era.

The concept of Stay Tuned was much better than the execution.

I watched this film so many times on HBO in the early 90s. I rewatched it as an adult and thought it was just okay.

You should watch it at least once though.

This is really why I thought to do this, hoping to find some GEMS I'd never ever find.

If you liked Rainbow Brite you will love this film I watched 100+ times as a kid.
It was my second choice to list but I could not find it streaming anywhere prominent for Free just ROKU/TUBi so I wanted to list something that could be found much easier.
